About Us

My experience working with children started over 30 years ago when I worked as a preschool assistant. I obtained my teaching credential, and I have over eleven years of elementary school teaching experience, primarily in first grade. After having four children of my own, I decided to stay close to home and opened up our preschool in 2006.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have served as a mentor teacher, training teachers who are new to the profession. I have taken several early childhood development classes, and am CPR and First Aid certified.

Preschool is a very important start to your child's future. Working closely with several kindergarten teachers, I have developed a program that will balance the social development of children with the very basic academic needs now essential for entering kindergarten. With a maximum of 12 children per class, I offer a 6:1 child-to-teacher ratio.

Philosophy

At El Dorado Hills Preschool, we strive to provide our students with a safe and nurturing environment where children can develop a true love for learning. We aim to ensure that children leave our program ready for Kindergarten, both socially and academically. We work closely with the families in our program to ensure that we give each child the best preschool experience possible.
